DJ/ Producer/ Remixer/ Songwriter
Twenty-five years deep. From white-label bootlegs cut on Acid Pro in the late ’90s underground, to an in-house remix chair at a German label charting on iTunes Germany — Adam J. Colosimo has spent a career proving that dancefloor energy and serious production were never opposites.
Producer, songwriter, remixer, label owner and DJ — Adam's catalogue runs from underground Melbourne clubs to major-label songwriting credits to a current run of international chart recognition across Beatport, Apple Music and iTunes.
Began producing original tracks and white-label club bootlegs as Phat Elvis, built entirely on Acid Pro and Sound Forge. By 2002 his bootleg of Regurgitator's Song Formerly Known As was a fixture on the Australian club circuit, putting his name on the map of the local dance scene.
Built a name across Melbourne's iconic rooms — Q Bar, Motel, Saratoga — and held a residency at the 21st Century Dance Club in Frankston. In 2005 he founded Teknika Records, releasing compilations and promo remixes, followed by a 2006 rework of Samantha Fox's Naughty Girls that became another dancefloor staple.
Expanded into songwriting and collaboration with major-label Australian artists including Dean Geyer (Sony) and Laura Knight (EMI). His release Believe in Love, featuring Kim Chandler, reached the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Contest and was remixed by UK producer Bitrocka and US duo Mr. Mig & Mike Rizzo.
After an extended hiatus, Adam came back with a refined, contemporary production style, releasing on respected international labels including Sirup Music, Progressive Vibes, Axiom, Bassfeature, Gallant Records and Day Dose of House — quickly becoming one of Australia's most prolific independent electronic producers.
Now an in-house remixer for German label ViVA ELECTRONICA, reworking artists including Amir Telem, PKNeer, Simply Seb and Ricco Sakona. His remix of Amir Telem's Momento helped the release reach #22 on the German iTunes Electronic Chart in June 2026 — his biggest international chart placement to date.
Hear the full remix catalogue →His remix of Book One's Solace charted at #34 on the Italian iTunes Electronic Chart in June 2026, while his original release Fever in My Veins, out on Trip and Bass Records, peaked at #20 on the global Beatport Bass House chart in March 2026 — underlining a run of releases now reaching audiences and charts well beyond Australia.
Adam has returned to the Australian dance music scene as both artist and remixer, collaborating with Dance Music Australia alongside Australian dance music pioneer Jason Midro. In the second half of 2026 he steps back behind the decks as Resident DJ for Sky Sonic in Melbourne — bringing his dancefloor focused and uplifting sound to live audiences.
